Mike has been training/teaching since a young age, starting with traditional karate and judo then adding Kickboxing and MMA. Taking part in tournaments has enabled Mike to enhance his skills and gain a vast knowledge, which helps with his teaching.
Mike has a fantastic way of getting students to understand what they need to do to improve their techniques.
Mike is currently the head instructor for MSD Evolution and the head trainer for Team Resistance.
Andree started her martial arts with Kickboxing a few years ago then very quickly added karate, teaching students at Cheltenham's Ladies College and local schools around Bishops Cleeve. Andree is proving to be a popular instructor, helping with the childrens classes and teaching a ladies only class every Wednesday and Sunday.
Andree is a Team Resistance member, competeing on the ISKA full contact Kickboxing circuit and is currently focusing on moving towards winning a title shot.
Matt started Kickboxing at the age of seven. At the age of 12 he got his junior black belt. He continued Kickboxing until the age of fifteen entering many competitions and winning over forty trophies.
After a serious mountain bike injury to his shoulder, Matt was forced to take a break from training, on returning to Kickboxing Matt has worked hard to retain his former fitness and skills. His enthusiasm for Kickboxing continues undiminished and he still endeavours to improve, Matt is an inspiration to all students.
Matt currently teaches at the Hatherley club which is growing in size all the time and teaches the children's Kickboxing at the main academy in Bishops Cleeve.
Mark started his martial arts training with Jiu Jitsu, achieving a high level of skill with total commitment to his training. Mark then added Kickboxing to his martial arts, training with Mike, Kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu together make an excellent compliment for teaching the MMA classes at the academy.
